How to Return/Exchange an Item

Return Conditions
- Original Condition: All returned items must be in their original condition, including tags and packaging.
- Return Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and must use a traceable shipping method to ensure processing.
- Size Chart Responsibility: Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing our sizing chart before making a purchase. If the incorrect size is ordered, the return will be processed as a change-of-mind return (see below).
Change-of-Mind Returns
- Store Credit Only: For returns due to change of mind, incorrect size selection, or other non-quality-related reasons, we offer store credit only once the item is returned in its original condition. Refunds will not be issued in these cases.
Quality Concerns or Faulty Items

Inconsistent Supplier Quality

Fraudulent Claims
- Return claims require high-resolution photos showing the issue
- Each return needs a unique Return Authorization Number (RAN)
- We can reject returns not meeting verification standards
Order Modifications & Accidental Purchases
Orders placed on averybyronbay.com require multiple confirmations and explicit consent through our secure checkout process. By completing checkout, customers acknowledge they have:
- Reviewed all items in cart
- Confirmed shipping details
- Approved final payment
These conscious actions constitute a binding purchase agreement.
While we understand mistakes can happen, order cancellations create immediate logistics and inventory management challenges as our fulfillment process begins promptly. Therefore:
All orders, including post-purchase additions, are final and can only be:
- Converted to store credit
- Modified to alternative items (any price difference will be issued as store credit or invoiced accordingly)
Orders reported as "accidental" within 1 hour of purchase may be handled in the same manner. Beyond the 1-hour window, orders enter our standard fulfillment process and fall under our normal return policy.
Handling Late Deliveries
- Delivery times are estimates only
- Delays can happen due to:
- Customs processing
- Shipping carrier complications
- Refunds for late deliveries will not be provided unless required under Australian Consumer Law
Customer Misuse
- Returns must be in resalable condition
- All original tags and packaging must be intact
